Probate fraud accusation

Instructed on behalf of a Defendant who was accused of Probate Fraud, amounting to a six-figure sum, in relation to her Father’s Estate of which she was the Executor.

We examined the nature of the transactions included within the Crown’s alleged fraud figures and also the terms of the Will.  Having done so, it was clear that the Defendant had acted in accordance with the terms of the Will.  The Crown had not considered this aspect of the case at any time during their investigations, which had taken almost two years and caused significant distress to the Defendant.

Following the receipt of our Expert Accountancy Report the case was dropped.
