Valuation of a company providing carpentry and joinery services

Valuation of interest in a company providing carpentry and joinery services. The valuation was made more complex by the fluctuating nature of project based income. The calculation for the value of the interest was dictated by a Special Resolution to the Articles of Association which had been adopted shortly before the divorce and which dramatically increased the valuation of the other shareholders’ shares. Also instructed to comment on the value of the interest prior to the Special Resolution and on the liquidity of the company and the means by which funds could be extracted.
