Instructed to prepare a high level overview letter on behalf of both husband and wife in respect of the valuation of a number of inter-related and group companies providing computer back-up storage hardware and software solutions for the media industry. Also instructed to comment on the tax consequences of the sale of shares, the current and future liquidity of the companies and level of maintainable earnings. The valuation was made more complicated as the main trading company had recently suffered substantial losses.
