Appointed in an expert determination pursuant to a court order whereby one party should sell his shares to the other party and the other party should buy those shares at a price to be determined by an independent expert. The case involved the valuation of an engineering firm supplying overseas markets.

The determiner was also required, amongst other things, to consider the valuation of the shareholding in light of whether there had been any unfair prejudicial conduct per the Companies Act 2006 provisions and the effect of such conduct, if any, on the value of the shares.
