Experience and specialist fields
- Business valuations for matrimonial proceedings;
- Fiscal valuations, such as valuing shares for HMRC recognised management incentive plans including Enterprise Management Incentives and Company Share Option plans;
- Valuations for financial reporting purposes, including determining the fair value of employee share schemes, purchase price allocations and the valuation of intangible assets;
- Shareholder and partnership disputes, including s994 Companies Act 2006;
- Professional negligence;
- Warranty disputes; and
- Loss of profits and consequential loss claims.

Career history
Having trained at KPMG Birmingham, Heidi moved from the audit and accountancy practice into Forensic Accounting on qualification as a Chartered Accountant. She spent many years working in this field for KPMG, Bentley Jennison and Craner & Co before setting up her own accountancy practice in 2007.
From this, Heidi managed a portfolio of clients, providing accounting and general tax support services to individuals and corporate clients across a range of industry sectors. She also acted as Finance Director for a London based entrepreneur, with business interests in London, the Midlands and Scotland, gaining invaluable hands on experience of the operational and economic challenges facing many businesses.
Returning to public practice in Forensic Accounting, Heidi has a particular focus on valuations but her experience extends over other disciplines of Forensic Accounting. She has delivered training courses on business valuations to solicitors.
Heidi has worked on a wide range of expert witness assignments and undertakes appointments as Single Joint Expert and Party Expert.
