Defendant pleaded guilty to three offences contrary to section 179(1) and (2) of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990. Offences related to the unauthorised use of green belt land designated for agriculture and forestry use – Crown alleged that defendant was using the land to operate a number of businesses.
