Appointed as the expert advisor to a shareholder involved in an unfair dismissal claim. The articles of association set out the basis on which the leaver’s shares were to be valued but there was a significant dispute as to whether he was a good or bad leaver. We addressed a report prepared by a Big Four firm which valued the shares at £nil and attended a mediation on behalf of her client, following which the matter settled favourably with a six figure sum being paid in respect of the shares.
