Valuation of the husband’s interest in a company providing landscape design services under the name of the husband. The valuation required an assessment of the extent to which the company and its value was dependant on the continued involvement of the husband.
The valuation was also significantly impacted by the recent acquisition of new business premises which, at the point of valuation, were in the process of being renovated.
Also instructed to comment on the likelihood of finding a purchaser for the business and the level of sustainable remuneration of the husband.
