Land Surveyor and Site Engineer - loss of earnings
Loss Of Earnings

Instructed by solicitors acting on behalf of the claimant, who was injured in a road traffic accident. At the time of the index accident, the claimant was a self employed Land Surveyor and Site Engineer, contracting to various building companies (he has since transferred his operations to a limited company). He was initially away from work for just 2 weeks, but then for a further 2½ months after an operation to reattach and repair a rotator cuff that was damaged in the accident. On approaching the principal contractor, for whom he worked before the accident, after the shoulder operation he was told they had replaced him in his absence. As a consequence there was a fall in the level of his earnings. I prepared a report evaluating the claimant's past and continuing losses of net earnings
